Intrinsiq Testimonial - MC Academy

In this interview with Harriet Burleigh, who is the Administration Manager at MC Academy in Manchester, we spoke about the type of service that they received from us, and we also focused on the relationship that we built with the school over the years.
Background
MC Academy started using Intrinsiq back in 2016 and originally they had gone for the standard version of the system. Since then, we have made custom-improvements to their HR and Calendar management facilities, as well as providing custom improvements to their Academics Section as the framework continues to improve. The latest feature that we added in this regard was the “Zoom Class Allocation” feature that we added last spring.
The questions below are the questions that we asked Ms. Harriet Burleigh.
How long have you been working with Intrinsiq for?
Our English Language School, MC Academy has been working alongside Intrinsiq since 2016.
What have Intrinsiq done for you that helps with the day to day running of your school?
The key aspect that really benefits MC Academy is the ability to adapt the system to our advantage, and it therefore works for us, rather than us adapting to the system. We have recently made a lot of significant changes to the platform and this has been relatively easy. We have gone through all of the school’s departments, and this has allowed us to improve specific design elements. For example, in Compliance, we now have a function that enables us to input specific information regarding the students attendance on the register, but this also now groups all information under the students profile – making it easier to track, monitor and follow up with any students we need to.
What can you tell us about the relationship with the Intrinsiq team throughout the project?
We feel that the staff are quick to acknowledge and respond to any problems we have, and do feel supported to make changes, as and when we like. Recently MC Academy made a large number of small changes, and we therefore had the option to schedule a call with a member of the Intrinsiq team which was very helpful for us in terms of being more time efficient, and being able to specifically address our issues without delay or information being ‘lost’ through emails.
And afterwards?
The Intrinsiq team has followed up with us, and updated us with the progress of the changes that took a little longer to embed into the platform. Furthermore, if we raise a ‘ticket’ with Intrinsiq we know this issue will be resolved in a timely manner and staff are therefore reliable. Overall MC Academy is happy with the service provided.
