Intrinsiq Interview - Mark and Jonas talk about their Dublin trip
In this interview we are taking you back to a couple of weeks ago when we were in Dublin for the IALC workshop we were interviewed by Schools & Agents live. As you can see from the video we were having a great time at IALC and, most importantly, we were seeing great signs that our industry is truly getting back on its feet.
‘It’s been great seeing people we haven’t seen in ages’
One of the perks of such events is that you get to see people you haven’t seen in a long time. For Intrinsiq this was a great opportunity for Mark to reconnect with clients and industry friends after (in some cases) years; and for Jonas this was also an opportunity to speak to and meet people he has, so far, only spoken to via email or video call.
‘Trying to condense what Intrinsiq can do in 20 minutes is a great struggle’
As most of you know by now, Intrinsiq can offer pretty much anything when it comes to school management systems because it is fully customisable and it is built according to the users’ needs. As a result, this makes it quite difficult to condense everything we do in a 20 minute meeting during such events, so we tend to take this as an opportunity to get to know what the client wants first, then follow up at a later stage when everyone is back home and calmer.

‘Meeting people face to face is completely different to talking to them through a camera
This is something that we’ve said repeatedly and the IALC conference has confirmed that. While it’s great to have technology as an option to fill in when it’s not possible to speak to people face to face, nothing replaces a live conversation when all parties involved are sitting round a table having a discussion.

Having said that, we understand it’s not possible to be everywhere all the time (even though we’d love that!).
