How it Works - Additional functions to your Activity & Leisure programmes

Welcome to another How it Works article, this time with a twist. Over the past few months, we have discussed how to set up activities and whole programmes with Intrinsiq’s Leisure function. In today’s article, we will highlight further tasks within the leisure programme setup.

Efficient Bus Allocation

With Intrinsiq, bus allocation can be sorted well in advance, eliminating the chaos and confusion often experienced at meeting points. This ensures a smooth process where everyone knows exactly where they need to be.

Tackling Adult Activities

Adult students can easily sign up for single activities. The events programme, for the current period is always displayed on their student portal, allowing students to stay informed about upcoming activities through their own devices. Students can then reserve their spot through the portal and then simply pay at reception to commit. The programme is also available to print, Intrinsiq provides you with a template that highlights each month’s programme so it can be pinned to the noticeboard.

Effective Reminders

Sending reminders is a breeze with Intrinsiq. Easily email all signed-up students about meeting points or last-minute updates. For those who have signed up but have not yet paid, reminder emails can prompt them to complete their payments to secure their spots. If there's still room on the coach, you can send a bulk email to students who have not signed up yet, encouraging them not to miss the excursion. This seamless communication method also minimizes classroom interruptions, maintaining the integrity of lesson time.

Customizable Posters

Creating and managing posters for each excursion is simplified with Intrinsiq. Design your poster once and print it as needed, saving staff time and effort. If you need to update the design, simply update the template, and all future prints will feature your new, improved design.

Assign Activity Leaders

Assigning activity leaders has never been easier. With Intrinsiq, you no longer need to remember who led which activity. The system keeps track of all assignments, ensuring smooth coordination and accountability.

Manage Costs

Intrinsiq helps you manage additional costs such as museum tickets or tour guide fees. It also includes a price calculator, enabling you to track the cost of activities and ensure you are charging appropriately.

Multiple Centres and Duplicate Function

Intrinsiq supports multiple centres at no extra costs, given this added function each event can be assigned to different centres, that way students can only see the activities run by the centre they are at. If there is one activity that is run for each centre, Intrinsiq facilitates your staff with the duplicate function, simply duplicate the activity and change the centre.  For example, if you have a welcome tour every Monday, you can easily duplicate the existing activity, and change the centre type.
