Coffees, Conferences and Connections: Mark’s European Sprint
Let’s take a look behind the scenes of Mark’s latest European adventure — a whirlwind journey that started in London and wrapped up in Berlin, filled with long-awaited meet-ups, client visits, new ideas, and plenty of laughs along the way.
UK – Meeting Kishan, Dario and Laura
The first stop was London, and it came with something special: Mark finally getting to meet Kishan in person after years of working together remotely. Nothing beats that first real coffee together after countless virtual calls!
With Dario and Laura joining in, the week quickly turned into a mix of team bonding, client catch-ups and planning for what’s next. Between meetings, the crew managed to squeeze in great food (Dario-approved, of course), quick walks between appointments, and a fair bit of lively conversation about how Intrinsiq can keep growing.
And while the schedule was packed — missed trains and all — the energy stayed high. The team left London closer, re-focused, and buzzing with ideas for the months ahead.
Berlin – Lead5050, ALTO and ICEF
Next up: Berlin! After a quick family stop in Cambridge, Mark headed straight into a full-on conference marathon. The fun kicked off with the Lead5050 Awards, where he had the honour of presenting an Intrinsiq-sponsored award and celebrating the incredible women shaping our industry.
Then it was off to the ALTO AGM and CPD Day, where the room was buzzing with conversations about the future of international education. A standout session on digital disruption got everyone thinking, and debating, about what comes next for our sector.
And of course, no European trip would be complete without ICEF Berlin. Three days of meetings, networking, showcasing Admissly, dodging the mid-afternoon slump with coffee, and catching up with familiar faces from around the world. The halls were alive from morning till evening, and the Intrinsiq table stayed busy right up to the final minutes.
There were fun moments too! Quick catchups in hotel bars, unexpected photo ops, and that famous end-of-ICEF buzz that hits right before the English UK party. Even with the post-event sore throat, the energy and inspiration carried right through to the journey home.
From London coffees to Berlin conferences, this trip was packed with connections, ideas and memories. The team is already gearing up for the next chapter — and as always, we’re excited to bring you along for the ride.
