Intrinsiq at the ALTO in New York
In May, Intrinsiq was delighted to be represented at the ALTO Conference in New York by CEO Mark Milford. ALTO, continues to be one of the most valuable annual gatherings for professionals in international education, bringing together leaders and changemakers from around the world for a weekend of insight, conversation and connection.
Setting the Scene for Insight and Innovation
From the very beginning, the tone was set for a rich and rewarding experience. With exceptional preparation and flawless organisation by Reka Lenart, the event opened with a warm and inspiring welcome from ALTO Chair Leanne Linacre. Over the course of the weekend, delegates engaged in a wide range of stimulating sessions exploring the key challenges and opportunities facing our industry. For Mark, it was a chance not only to take in some brilliant ideas, but also to enjoy thoughtful conversations with fellow professionals from around the globe. Of course, no conversation about international education would be complete without mention of AI, a theme that surfaced more than once.
City Views, Good Company, and a Bike Ride to Remember
The social side of the event was equally memorable. One highlight was the evening reception at the Skyloft in Manhattan, which provided the perfect setting to relax and reconnect with industry colleagues while enjoying spectacular views over the city. To cap off the weekend, participants were treated to a unique and engaging way to experience the city—a guided evening bike ride through New York, offering a bit of history, a bit of fun, and a welcome stretch of the legs before the journey home.
All in all, the ALTO Conference in New York proved to be a brilliant mix of professional insight, industry collaboration and cultural connection. Intrinsiq is proud to be part of a community that continues to shape the future of language education, and we look forward to the next opportunity to learn, share and grow together.
