Our latest update introduces a dedicated One-to-One Manager, designed to simplify the scheduling and management of individual lessons through a clear and intuitive timetable view.
A Dedicated Space for One-to-One Lesson Management
The new One-to-One Manager gives academic teams a central place to organise private lessons, view available teaching slots, and manage bookings with ease. Built around a timetable-style interface, the feature provides a clearer overview of availability while streamlining the entire booking process from start to finish.
When a student books a one-to-one course, users can quickly access all relevant course information, including the course type, lesson dates, total number of lessons, and lesson duration. Lesson durations are configured directly at course level, ensuring consistency across all bookings and helping schools maintain accurate scheduling standards.
Faster Teacher Assignment and Scheduling
Assigning a student to a teacher is now more straightforward than ever. Users simply select the required week and centre, search for available schedules, and choose a student from the list. From there, an available teacher can be assigned while the system clearly displays key information such as session duration, lessons already booked, and any remaining sessions still to be scheduled.
The timetable view allows users to book lessons directly into available slots with a single click. For recurring lessons, bookings can automatically repeat across multiple weeks, making it easy to maintain consistent schedules for students who attend regular weekly sessions. Alternatively, users can create individual bookings when more flexibility is needed.
Flexible Booking with Built-In Validation
Lesson times are automatically populated based on the selected timetable slot, helping reduce manual input and speed up the booking process. At the same time, users still retain the flexibility to manually adjust lesson times when required. The system also validates lesson durations to ensure they remain aligned with the course configuration.
As lessons are booked, the system continuously tracks progress, clearly showing how many sessions have already been scheduled and how many remain available. This gives academic teams full visibility over a student’s one-to-one package while reducing the risk of overbooking or missed sessions.
Planning Ahead with Greater Visibility
The new functionality also supports greater flexibility when planning ahead. Users can move between different weeks, continue scheduling remaining lessons, and even assign different teachers where necessary, all while the system automatically keeps track of completed and outstanding sessions.
Once lessons have been scheduled, they can then be assigned to classrooms through the Room Allocator. One-to-one classes are clearly identified within the timetable view, including dedicated indicators and teacher names, making them easy to recognise and manage alongside standard classes.
Improved Student and Class Overview
Student profiles also provide a complete overview of all current one-to-one classes, allowing staff to quickly review lesson schedules, assigned teachers, and generated class information from a single location.
