A Smarter Way to Manage Classes: Meet the New Class Manager

At Intrinsiq, we’re always looking for ways to make day-to-day school management faster, simpler, and more intuitive. Our latest update introduces a refreshed and more powerful version of the Class Manager, bringing together everything schools need to organise classes, students, teachers, and timetables in one streamlined space.

While the familiar classic layout remains, with students displayed on the right and classes on the left, the new version introduces a range of enhancements designed to reduce admin time and improve visibility across your academic operations.

One of the biggest improvements is the ability to manage classes entirely from a single page. Users can now create or remove classes, assign students and teachers, and even allocate room numbers all within the same view. By eliminating the need to move between multiple screens, schools can make updates faster and manage scheduling with far greater efficiency.

The redesigned interface also introduces a cleaner, more modern visual experience. Classes can now be colour-coded, making it easier to identify different levels, course types, or groups at a glance. Whether your school uses colours by level, course type or group, the improved layout helps staff quickly understand schedules without needing to search through detailed lists.

To provide even greater visibility, the new timetable view displays all classes in chronological order from the earliest to latest timeslot. The Monday-to-Friday layout gives a clear overview of the full teaching schedule in an easy-to-follow format. Saturdays and Sundays can be added too for those schools who run classes in those dates.

Managing student movements has also become significantly more efficient. Rather than assigning students individually, users can now select multiple students at once and move them together into a class. This makes handling new starters, timetable changes, or group movements much quicker, particularly during busy enrolment periods.

The updated Class Manager also gives staff more insight into student study hours directly within the interface. Student details displayed alongside the timetable now show both the number of hours purchased and the number of hours currently assigned to classes. This allows teams to easily identify gaps in scheduling and ensure students are allocated the correct amount of teaching time.

Alongside these new features, the flexibility schools already rely on remains fully in place. Users can still define which days and times classes run, plan schedules as far into the future as needed, and filter views by course type, centre, or group to keep everything organised and manageable.

This latest update reflects our ongoing commitment to helping schools work smarter with tools that are practical, flexible, and designed around real operational needs. With a more modern interface, improved scheduling visibility, and faster class management workflows, the new Class Manager helps schools stay organised while saving valuable administrative time.
