The Intrinsiq Process: Consultation

Last week we shared with you a post on the Intrinsiq Process and we took a brief look at what each one of the steps involved entails. This week, we are going to delve deeper into this and focus a bit more on what the very first step in this process is all about. 

Identifying Goals 

For us, Consultation is extremely important because we believe that this is where we get to know our clients better and we understand exactly what their needs are. As much as possible, and whenever our clients are within a close distance, we try to have our first meetings face to face. However, as this is not always possible due to the fact that some of our clients are in various places around the world, this can also be done online. We dedicate as much time as needed to the initial calls, that way we can truly understand what the client’s goals are and how we can help them reach these targets.

Gather and Analyse Information

The next step within the consultation process consists of gathering information from the different departments within the school. If we want our system to be in line with how you run things, we are the ones who have to adapt, and not vice versa. And we do this by setting up different meetings with the different school departments. Once we gather all the information, we analyse it and start preparing for the next stage.

Multiple Meetings

We believe in communication and therefore, we will not stop at just one meeting. Getting to know a client and their needs takes time, and for this reason we are happy to set up as many meetings as necessary to gather everything that we need.

Software Demo

During this stage we also take the opportunity to showcase our software to the client, however, it is very important to stress that no commitments are required at this stage. It is also important to point out (and we stress this with our clients during our software demos too) that everything on Intrinsiq is customisable. So the demo is there to give the client a taste of what Intrinsiq can do, and then continue discussing how we can customise the software according to the client’s needs. At this stage we are happy to have multiple meetings with the client to address any queries they might have.
