Intrinsiq Support - Getting more familiar with Dashboards

In the busy lifestyle that we lead, simplicity is key. When it comes to the day-to-day running of schools, at Intrinsiq, we make sure to stick to this theory and make our clients’ lives as simple and as easy as possible. We do this by giving them a clear and simple dashboard where they can access all of their day’s work and tasks on one screen - a dashboard where they can view real-time key metrics to help you plan your work day better, and handle the urgent stuff straight away.

So who gets to decide what is important enough to appear on the Dashboard?

As with everything else with Intrinsiq, it is the client who decides and determines what is important enough in the day-to-day running of the school to be placed in the dashboards. Obviously with years of experience in the field, we can definitely help guide the client in relation to what functions should go there, however, since it is a custom-built software, it is up to the client to choose.

How many Dashboards do schools normally have?

The base system has 3 dashboards, however, more can be added depending on what departments will be using the software. Most language schools will only need the three we have, but bigger schools and universities might need more, and it is not a problem for Intrinsiq to set them up.

How does one access the Dashboard?

When a user logs in, the home screen is automatically the dashboard for his or her department (depending on the security level set for that user). Once again, this is determined by the school.

The Academics Dashboard

The Academics Dashboard includes attendance monitoring; listing students that need warning letters etc; Classes running during that current week; classing issues (students not allocated, classes with incomplete roll, students missing for a number of sessions etc); and a list of upcoming intake numbers per week.

The Accommodation Dashboard

The Accommodation Dashboard includes student arrivals and transfers that need to be sorted; students who need to be allocated to their accommodation; a list of families that still need to confirm (and which need to be chased up); host families that are due to update their permit or due for a visit etc.

The Admissions Dashboard

The Admissions Dashboard follows a timeline so users can track how many new applicants they have; applicants who have already paid their deposit or those requiring a visa. This dashboard also includes the accounts part, including agents who are owed commission or information on students who still need to pay.
