How it Works – Creating an Event/Excursion
Welcome to another instalment of 'How It Works' with Intrinsiq! We're thrilled to walk you through the effortless process of organising new events and excursions using our platform. Come along as we demonstrate how, through Intrinsiq’s experience in the international education industry, we manage to streamline this vital task, designed specifically for schools and language travel providers worldwide.
Step 1: Go to Events > Add Excursion/Programme.
Step 2: Enter Name.
Step 3: Select Type – Choose Excursion from the list.
Step 4: Click Save.
Step 5: Under the ‘Event Items’ tab, you can add the dates and times the excursion runs.
Step 6: You can add a promo image and message for students.
Step 7: Bulk send to all current students; the System creates an automated sign-up link.
Step 8: Students who sign up will appear under the ‘Students’ tab with Status booked.
Step 9: Once the student pays at reception/online. Status can be switched to Paid.
Step 10: Before the activity a list of students attending can be printed from the system.

With online sign-up, your students do not need to wait in long queues, making the registration process quicker and smoother. Additionally, alerts and reminders for unpaid bookings can be sent in bulk to students, this helps manage activities efficiently, ensuring more students participate.
Real-time updates from the system ensure no one misses out
By granting system access to all staff, students can easily pay at reception, should the people in charge of activities not be present. The receptionist can easily access the student profile and mark their booked activity as paid to make sure they do not miss the opportunity. This simplifies payment procedures, ensuring effective management and delivering a smooth experience for both students and staff.
