School Challenge vs Intrinsiq Solution – Classing Issues
At Intrinsiq, we're excited to share the latest article in our series, "School Challenges vs. Intrinsiq Solutions." This article investigates the class management problems schools face in the ever-changing world of international education. Find out how Intrinsiq addresses these issues in our new article. Do your academic staff face similar challenges?
Are you having issues with students getting fewer hours than they booked?
Are students still assigned to a class even though they are on holiday?
Are you still struggling to group students at the same level to avoid unnecessary extra classes?
Fed up with switching between windows to check students' bookings, hours, and levels to ensure they are in the right place?
With Intrinsiq's one-page screen, any students who are assigned fewer hours than they booked are highlighted. This helps the director of studies quickly spot and fix scheduling issues, ensuring all students get the right number of hours. Intrinsiq's system also automatically removes students who are on holiday from the class list for that period. This allows managers to reassign their seats to other students easily, ensuring optimal class utilisation.
Academic managers can sort the class list by level to see how many classes of the same level are running in a week. This helps them reassign students to one class and remove extra, unnecessary classes, simplifying class management. Intrinsiq's system combines all important student information on one screen, so there's no need to check individual profiles. The left side shows a list of students enrolled for the period you are working on, while the right side lets you add or remove classes, choose the days of the week the class runs, and select the appropriate timeslots. This single view makes it easier to manage student class allocation and class setup.
The Intrinsiq system keeps students in the same class from the day they are added to the class until the end of their stay. This means that once a student is assigned to a class, they will not need to be assigned to the same class every week. In cases where a student needs to be moved for example due to their improvement in level, one can remove the student from one class and assign it to another one easily. The system also highlights students with class issues in red and amber. The amber list shows students who have a partial allocation meaning they have more than one course booked but only added a class for one course. The red list shows students with allocation issues such as being assigned more hours or fewer hours in class than they booked. In every case clicking on the information icon next to each student's name highlights what the exact issue is, this helps managers quickly address and solve any class management problems.
Intrinsiq is dedicated to improving these challenges by automating processes and continually enhancing our system to meet the evolving needs of schools. If you’re interested in discovering how the Intrinsiq platform can streamline your operations, please contact us at @intrinsiq.net.
