Intrinsiq’s How it Works – Roles and Rates

Welcome to the latest edition of our 'How It Works' series! In this series, we break down how our system operates and help you get to know the features of Intrinsiq. In this article, we’ll explain how easy it is to enter staff roles and pay rates using our platform. Join us as we guide you through the process, highlighting how Intrinsiq’s vast experience in international education makes this task effortless for schools and language providers across the globe.  

Step 1 – Go to Admin > Recruitment > Job Roles 

Step 2 – Click Add 

Step 3 – Fill in details – Name of Role, Type, Contracted Hours, etc 

Step 4 – Click Save – at this point a new job role has been added to your list

Step 5 – Add Document Types that are required for the role, such as passport, qualifications, bank details, etc 

Step 6 – Add Pay Rates – choose type, dates, hourly rate and total weekly hours required 

Step 7 – Add Returning Bonus (and add validity dates) – can be based on number of years or performance level 

Step 8 – Select induction dates 

Step 9 (Optional) – Add link to book online interviews

Automation combined with flexibility

This system ensures efficiency and saves time by automatically applying standard pay rates to each staff member when you assign them a role. However, it also provides the flexibility for you to adjust these rates manually should the need arise, ensuring you have complete control over staff compensation.

Multiple Roles and Rates

We recognise that a staff member can hold multiple roles within the organization, such as a standard English teaching role, a Business English role and a 1:1 teaching role. Each of these roles can be assigned a distinct rate in our system, giving you the flexibility to manage a diverse range of teaching responsibilities and ensure the appropriate compensation.

Staff Document Collation

When conducting interviews, the system automatically identifies the essential documents required from prospective hires. Once received, these documents are securely stored under the relevant staff member’s profile, making it easy to track and manage all necessary paperwork in an easy-to-find location. This feature enhances both organization and compliance, ensuring that all documentation is easily accessible at any time.
