At Intrinsiq, we may not all sit in the same office or even the same time zone, but that doesn’t stop us from working as a tight-knit, collaborative team. Like many modern companies, we’re spread out geographically, but we’ve built a culture that bridges the distance and keeps us connected, motivated, and in sync. 

So how do we do it? 

1. Focused Team Channels for Smooth Collaboration 

We’ve organised our communication channels by department, creating focused spaces where each team can share updates, ask questions, and coordinate their work. Whether it’s product development, support, or sales, each team has its own corner of the virtual office to stay aligned and keep things moving. 

This structure helps avoid unnecessary noise while making it easy to loop in other teams when needed—because cross-functional collaboration is key in a company like ours. 

2. Fortnightly All-Hands Calls 

Every two weeks, we jump on a team call to catch up on more than just the to-do list. It’s our chance to share updates on ongoing projects, new client leads, and future ideas. These calls help keep everyone informed, but they’re also a great way to stay connected as people—not just colleagues behind a screen. 

3. Celebrating Wins, Big and Small 

One of our favourite rituals is sharing wins in our main team channel. Whether it’s a new account coming on board, a glowing piece of client feedback, or celebrating family milestones, we take time to celebrate together. 

We also love seeing our clients succeed. When we spot one of our schools featured in the news or receiving an award, you can bet it gets shared and applauded across the team. 

4. Holiday Snaps and Offbeat Moments 

Work isn’t all business at Intrinsiq. When someone’s off on a well-earned break, we’re often treated to a cheeky photo from their travels. It’s a small thing, but it keeps the human side of our team front and centre. We genuinely care about each other and enjoy staying involved in one another’s lives, whether it’s a milestone moment or a spontaneous beach selfie. 

The Result? A Culture That Works — Remotely. Being remote hasn’t diluted our culture, it’s just made us more intentional about how we connect. With the right mix of structure, communication, and celebration, we’ve built a strong team spirit that stretches across borders.
